I am the owner of two German Shepherd dogs (Sid & Stella). They have both been fussy eaters. I have recently changed from Iams to Eukanuba, but they have been turning there noses up at both dog brands.
As soon as I bought the Mighty Mix biscuits home the dogs were aware of something new
, they began pawing at the bag and would not leave it alone. As soon as I gave them some biscuits to try they gobbled them down.
I have never seen my dogs eat a dry biscuit as if it was a piece of fresh meat, but this is just what it was like.
Stella who has always suffered from a slight limp appears to be sound at the moment and both dogs have beautiful coats.
I first used Mighty Mix when our dog Flynn was refusing other foods at just under a year old.
At the time it was necessary to have him on antibiotics that had to be given with food. He refused to eat anything we offered just incase it had those pills hidden in it. So we tried Mighty Mix and he just loved it, pills and all. No more problems!
It's a very easy product to store and feed. I really like that it has no preservatives and it contains all natural quality ingredients including green lipped mussels.
Really good value for money plus the convenience of having it delivered to your door. We have had excellent service from your Blenheim agent. I have recommended Mighty Mix to other owners with dogs ranging from tiny Terriers to Labradors. Even the really fussy eaters enjoy Mighty Mix.
I've been owned by Golden Retrievers for almost 21 years. In 1995 I switched my dog's diet from dog roll and dry biscuits to the 'Frozen Mighty Mix Concentrate' food. My dogs took to this challenge with delight and we've had many years of fun together competing in gundog trials, obedience trials and in the conformation ring. My dogs have always had a wonderful shine to their golden coats and have kept in firm, working condition when competing in the field trials.
I've found Mighty Mix to be quite economical, especially as the dogs do not need to be fed as much to keep the condition on them, and the dogs have enjoyed good health with very few trips to the vet.
I must admit to having 'strayed away' on the odd occasion to try a new 'food', however I have always returned to the 'faithful' Mighty Mix frozen concentrate food. At the end of the day though I believe it's the dogs who let me know whether a product is correct or not, my dogs have never turned down a daily feed of Mighty Mix in over 10 years.
KANDLE IN THE WIND (Kandie's Story) -
Kandie joined our family as a 9 week old puppy from a reputable breeder. As keen competitors in Obedience, Flygility & Agility she was purchased as a second dog to join our elder dog, Zoe, on the national competition circuit. As soon as we began training Kandie at age 18 months it became apparent that she had severe joint pain in all of her joints and was unable to run and jump despite the fact that her brain constantly told her that was what she wanted to do. It was a heartbreaking sight to watch your young dog lying down at night chewing her joints until the skin is raw. Nothing worked for Kandie, and we tried it all, so a decision was made to treat her with painkillers and remove her from all activites involving strenuous activity. This is not an easy thing to do with a Border Collie and it didn't take long before she became mentally wound up like an over wound spring. Euthanasia was discussed more than once in order to be fair to her. Our family vet agreed that unless we could find some way to keep her comfortable and sane it was probably the fairest thing to do for her.
In January 2009 we discovered Mighty Mix Dog Products. We decided to give it a go and both dogs began having frozen mighty mix as their daily food. At the end of 2009 we also added biscuits to their diet and have fed nothing except Mighty Mix ever since. Both dogs absolutely radiate health, shiny coats, bright eyes, optimal weight and minimal pooh to be picked up daily. Zoe at 7 years old is showing no signs of slowing down but the remarkable change is in Kandie.
Kandie is now competing in Obedience, Flygility and Agility. She is able to jump, climb A frames, run through tunnels and weave poles with ease. There is no evidece of pain and she is bright and happy and her mental well-being is 100% better as she can run and be a Border Collie. The change in diet is the only thing that has been changed in her life and she now has full mobility to go with her shiny coat, bright eyes and happy demeanour. Obviously all thoughts of premature euthanasia have now been abandoned.
Add to the fact that both dogs love the food and we love both the results and the price, we are very thankful to have discovered Mighty Mix. With a new puppy joining the family in April 2011, he will be eating Mighty Mix from day one.

Just to give you some background, my dog Lola (A Staffy Cross, currently 10 years old) was diagnosed from a very early age with an Auto Immune Disease and Secondary Bacterial Dermatitis. This disease wreaked havoc on her skin and she developed inter-digital cysts that interfered with her walking, caused her extreme pain and made her lethargic and run down. The disease saw her spend a large portion of her life either at vet clinics, at specialists having expensive invasive tests or so run down that it affected her quality of life.
Eventually a treatment plan of injections (Convenia – a powerful antibiotic) was able to keep the disease at bay. The cost of these injections were $200 per treatment (12 treatments were required each year = total yearly cost $2,400).
A friend from work suggested I try Mighty Mix Dog Food. He wasn’t aware of my dogs skin condition but suggested it was such a good quality food along with being so cost effective that I should give it a go.
I started Lola on Mighty Mix in October 2014. By the start of December 2014 her skin condition was completely 100% in remission
. She has not attended a single vet appointment or required a drop of medication for her skin since commencing twice daily feeding of Mighty Mix.
During February 2015 I ran out of Mighty Mix for a period of one week. I brought Supermarket brand dog food and feed this to Lola for a seven day period until my next order was due to be delivered. To my surprise, on the fourth day of feeding her a diet other than Mighty Mix her skin started to flare back up again. I cannot stress and emphasise enough the amazing results that have been achieved by placing my dog on a Mighty Mix diet.
I am happy to provide a verbal testimonial to anyone who wants to start trying Mighty Mix for their dog. The amount of money Mighty Mix has saved me in Vet bills plus more importantly the fact my dog is now well, happy and not reliant on medication is truly unbelievable.
I will continue to use this product for as long as it is available and highly
recommend it to absolutely everyone.
This stuff is liquid gold for dogs!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you
Just wanted to say how healthy our dogs have been looking since on the Mighty Mix biscuits. My step-father had given me some to trial before my last order. The reason for this is my 8 year old lab/whippet was sick every couple of days and this became more frequent till it was 2-3 times a day. So $700 on a couple of vet bills for bloods and x-rays and they couldn't tell me what was happening. So we tried these biscuits and she is a different dog, only days after of being on these biscuits and for months now has not thrown up once, So I can only put it down to the processed foods the vets were selling me.
Just wanted to thank you guys for this awesome product.
Last year we adopted a 4 year old Staffy cross. After only a day or two, we realised she suffered from incontinence. We quickly grew tired of cleaning up after her, and began to look at options to fix the problem that didn't include surgery. We tried a few ideas, including feeding her a gluten-free diet, natural remedies, regular pee times, and nappies. Through these measures we were better able to manage her incontinence but not fix the underlying problem. Unrelated to this issue, a dog-loving friend recommended Mighty Mix as we were looking to feed our Staffy a better quality natural diet. Within six weeks of starting her on Mighty Mix we noticed she leaked less around the house, and three months later her incontinence seems to have disappeared. Very rarely does she leak know, and in fact has turned into a camel! She looks fantastic, a glossy fur coat, clear eyed and lots of energy. She's in great shape. We love Mighty Mix.
We put our two dogs on Mighty Mix biscuits a month ago as they'd been carrying a bit of 'condition' from the Eukanuba/supermarket brand blend we had them on. Pleased to say they've trimmed down nicely and have very shiny coats. Have been recommending this product to all who have dogs. Definite value for money".
Great for my old Husky. Loves the hardness of the biscuits and chews them down, great formula, and well priced, love this product."
I am feeding my dog the Nourish biscuits. She is a 13 year old German Shepherd with EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency) where her pancreas does not produce any digestive enzymes and struggles to absorb nutrients from her food. I am so glad I discovered your low fat option and the old girl is thriving. THANK YOU."

“We are the proud owners of a 12 year old German Shepherd, a 2 year old Huntaway and a 15 1/2 year old Jack Russell.
I have 12 years experience with German Shepherds, breeding 49 litters and following the puppies through until they were a year old, helping with feeding advice, health issues etc.
My own Shepherd suffered terribly with hot spots and ear problems. My Huntaway smelt like road kill from the day I got him at seven weeks, when I was socializing him people would go to pat him and then smell their hands and go poo, couldn’t blame them he was really high no matter what shampoo we tried. Our Jack Russell was always scratching. We heard about Mighty Mix so decided to go it a go. Must admit I had a challenge feeding frozen food in winter but wanted what was best for our dogs. After 3 weeks my Huntaway didn’t smell anymore, much to everyone’s relief, the Shepherd’s hot spots had dried up and his eyes were so good he came off all medication. The Jack Russell stopped scratching.
Couldn’t believe it, I didn’t feed anything else AT ALL except the Mighty Mix and today I’m about to prove its worth. We couldn’t get any Mighty Mix over the Christmas period (my fault) so they were on other food. Within two weeks everything was back to the way it was before I started them on Mighty Mix, but even worse, my old Shepherd is having trouble getting up from the ground and is very wobbly on his back end.
We will make sure we don’t run out again!”
I have two mixed bull breed dogs at home, both of undetermined linage and one who is a rescue who was obviously not fed well as a puppy. Our small female has a tendency to get quite 'portly' very easily while no matter what we fed our bigger male he just would not put weight on at all. Four weeks into feeding Mighty Mix Dog Roll
and both dogs are looking amazing, the girl is the size she should be and the boy has gained a huge amount of weight, so much so we are now dropping him back to a maintenance feed. This is something we thought would never happen with him.
Being able to have the rolls delivered weekly and the friendly and helpful advice we have received from the local distributor has been completely amazing as well. I can't speak highly enough of the rolls or of the ease of getting them, the local distributor is amazingly helpful and nothing is ever an issue."
Just bagged a 25kg bag of Mighty Mix Frozen Concentrate into enough foods bags to last our Border Collie Luie for 156 days. $96.00 for the bag delivered to my door for free by the local agent. Luie has been eating Mighty Mix for about the past four months and has gone from a fussy eater that was hard to keep condition on (given his high activity nature) to a well nourished pooch that loves his dinner time and has held great condition throughout. Our 20kg dog is fed on premium food for 60c a day. If you have a dog you should be feeding Mighty Mix".
We have been using Mighty Mix Frozen Concentrate for our Border Collies for 15 years (pictured below from left to right - Panda, Scuba and Dougie). It has been economically the best option for our dogs and the nutrition is great. Occasionally we supplement with bones or biscuits, but our dogs' main food is Mighty Mix.
We compete in Dog Obedience Champs and find it easy to take the dog food along for a couple of nights without it deteriorating and still have the dogs working well.
We also have great service from our local supplier which currently is Juanita Williams (Rotorua), who is always on time with forward notice of deliveries and a pleasure to work with."
